Market St. Kiosk Mural – 13th & Market St. – $500 stipend

This kiosk was originally intended as a site for posting community “HAPPENINGS.” Many kiosks like this have been removed, and only a few remain. Spaceworks wants to commission an artist to create a mural on the flat space of this kiosk. The flat space wraps around all sides, creating a unique opportunity to create a 360 degree painting. What can you come up with?

Spaceworks is constantly working to identify more spaces, so we are also accepting proposals for potential project sites, such as vacant storefronts, outdoor mural spaces, and open spaces like Tollefson Plaza. If you propose a project for a location other than already secured spaces, think broadly about your work and about the potential spaces in which it could be installed.
